CONTEMPORARY ARTISTIC PRACTICE IN THE AGE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

The article analyzes the trend of application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in the world art practice.

We note that artificial intelligence has become not just another tool in the arsenal of artists, but full-fledged agent of cultural production, which challenges traditional concepts of authorship, originality and aesthetic experience. Key areas are explored where AI acts as a means of deconstructing and reconstructing the creative process, from generative algorithms to algorithmic art and neural networks that generate autonomousartistic worlds. Examples of such works illustrate the shift from art as a static object to art as a dynamic platform that exists in human machine interaction. AI becomes the new interface between creator and viewer, resulting in a kind of synergy that transcends traditional genre and medial formats. Questions are raised regarding the authorship and social status of AI, its right to be a co-creator, and its participation in the contemporary cultural ecosystem. This research paper offers a new perspective on AI as a mediator whose function is not to replace the human artist, but to create new paradigms of art accessible through digital and

networked interfaces. Artificial intelligence thus becomes a mediator and catalyst for a new cultural logic that may soon lead to a redefininion of the very notion of art.
